Description

True Skate gives you a skate park in the comfort of your own phone for finger skateboarding fun.

True Skate is a skateboarding game for fingers, where you can perform tricks and flips to earn points. You will not be looking at a person skateboarding, except for the occasional leg if you have the settings on. The screen will show you a skateboard in the middle of the park- it is like you looking downwards at your skateboard. You control a tiny skate board with your fingers, and the game sends to a skateboard. Perform tricks like ollies, flips and slides to earn points. The park has rails, ramps, ledges, and pipes for your skateboarding skills to help you complete missions. You can keep going around in circles around the park as you learn to use your fingers to control a skateboard.

There are missions in True Skate to help you master the game. The first few missions focus mainly on basic skills like steering, moving and performing tricks. There are also missions where you have to follow the path and match the tricks a shadow skate board does. There are also live events during special holidays to unlock gifts.

When you first play, the game places you in a simple park for you to warm up your fingers. You have to flick or drag the skateboard at specific points because the game uses touch based physics. If you put your fingers on the wrong part of the skateboard, you might end up falling off the rails instead of doing a grind. The skateboard simulation feels real, so if you push off the wrong section of the skateboard, it might flip off instead.

At the start, you have only one Skate Park, but there is plenty to do and you can always buy access to newer skate parks. You can buy skateboards or parks with real money or via True Credits. To earn True Credits, finish missions and do tricks for a higher score. The True Credits buy nicer looking skateboards and new parks in the game. You can keep changing your board image or wheel colors to suit, and there are no limits to the change.

True Skate is fun without the pain, the background music is not loud with a steady beat to help you time your movement. Just like a real skateboard, where you put the pressure will affect how the skateboard behaves. Different movements will create different flips, so there are many skills that earn your points in the game. If you fail, the board will fall off to the side or stop, and the game will flash the fail in the center of the screen.

On mission mode, you can fail a mission if you do not follow instructions, but if you fall off the board, you can simply try again. You can replay the game until you achieve the mission. Enable practice mode to warm up before playing for the count, get familiar with the skate path so you can plan your for tricks. There are silver, bronze and gold level wins, depending on the score and how closely you stayed in the path.

How to play

To make the skateboard move, push off the floor next to the skateboard like you would with a real thing. The good thing about True Skate, you do not need to learn how to balance on it. You can push off anywhere off the screen, but make the habit of keeping it true to real by pushing off near the skateboard. Like learning how to ride a skateboard in real life, True Skate believes in practice makes perfect.

True Skate settings help you get comfortable playing the game. Tap on the three dots on the top left to open the window, then chose settings on the bottom right. You can see options like swipe sensitivity and show legs. Other helpful options include setting the reset position when you reach a certain point in the park, or if you want to practice doing some tricks from a point. There also camera view and the option to switch the crash cam option on.

The simplest trick is the ollie, it is what most skateboarders do after they learn how to move forward fast on a skateboard. To do an ollie, you will need some speed before making a small swipe from the end of the tail to the bottom of the screen. Once you are off the ground, do not forget to balance the board like you would in real life. If you are aiming for a rail or a ramp, be sure to remember that you have to balance your two fingers on the board correctly.

To flip your skateboard, just touch the skateboard and flick on the screen. How fast the board flips depends on how quickly you flick it. Because the game recognizes where your fingers are and will not act unless your "feet" fingers are on the board. You can experiment with True Skate by pushing, swiping, and flicking on the virtual skateboard.

You gain scores by performing tricks on the skateboard. Once you reach a comfortable speed, you can to do tricks like grind or slide. Jump up towards rails by performing an ollie, then you can follow up with as many combinations as you can do to accumulate points. Every successful trick earns points, and you will also gain multipliers with you do them within a time limit from the last trick.

True Credits are converted automatically from the points that you got after the game, so the higher your score the more credits you earn. While it is fun to experiment with the skateboard for fun, but it is a challenge to gain a good score without practice. Like in real life, True Skate challenges include staying on course and staying on a rail. It is frustrating when you fail a trick, fortunately it is easy to get back on the skateboard and try again.

The hardest mission you have may be the Follow missions. You have to follow the path of the shadow skateboards and to the tricks the board does. Doing it correct will fill the top bar green, and when you miss with path or trick, it will turn red. If you cannot meet the requirements, you fail the mission. It is rewarding when you follow the skilled shadow and pass the mission. Did you perform a complicated trick in True Skate? Great
Very good game with very high operability. If you are skilled, you can play it very well. In short, it is a very fun game and worth starting. At present, the text is not extensive and I feel that this should be improved. I hope to adopt it. Thank you!
